About

The career services office is dedicated to providing information that will be helpful in preparing students for the job market; whether that be in the form of preparing a legal resume and cover letter, learning appropriate etiquette/attire for prior to, during, and after interviews, as well as working with students to find meaningful internship and externship opportunities.

This blog will be dedicated to providing up-to-date information on a variety of topics related to career services.  Much of the information will be pertinent to the general job search (i.e., cover letters, resumes, interviewing techniques, etc...), but I also hope to be able to provide materials on recent hiring opportunities and legal employment news.

There are many articles and blogs on new lawyer placement.   Some are excellent, many are correct, some are correct from only a limited perspective, some are misleading and a few are wrong. We urge you to get as much information from multiple sources and as specific information as you can for what you want to do with your law degree.

I also would like to cater my posts to particular issues you are dealing with in regard to searching for an internship.  So, please, feel free to contact me through C.O.Y.O.T.E.S., and I will do my best to address any comments or concerns you may have as a part of this blog.
